Local Advertising Agency Helps Private Equity Firm Reach New Heights, Wins Tower Award

May 14, 2007, Chicago, IL ––The Monogram Group, a Chicago-based advertising agency, won the Tower Award for their work on MFC Capital Funding for Color Campaigns under $200,000.  The campaign featured case studies of portfolio companies that demonstrate the breadth and depth of their involvement in deals for the middle market.  As a result of Monogram’s work with MFC, the private equity firm has grown from a start-up lender with a portfolio worth $48.25 million, to more than $279 million in total assets and is on pace to grow another 70% in 2007.

The Tower Awards are awarded by the Business Marketing Association and are Chicago's premier B-to-B creative competition.  The campaigns are evaluated by a panel of nine out-of-town judges on the basis of clarity of objective, audience and media strategy employed, impact of creative concept and results.

According to Scott Markman, Founder and President of Monogram Group, “Winning this award is truly an honor.  BMA is a fantastic organization and receiving their recognition is very meaningful.  We are always proud of our work and its ability to help our clients continue to prosper, but it is always wonderful to find out that a respected panel of our peers recognizes it as well.”

Celebrating its 19th year in business, The Monogram Group is an advertising agency that specializes in boldly repositioning brands. The agency has offices in Chicago and Charlotte, and its clients include Closet Works, Chicago Council on Global Affairs, Life Fitness, Outlook Window Fashions and theWit, a Doubletree Hotel.
