The Rotunda Way, Spaghetti Map, Entrepreneurial Success (and the Baltimore Ravens)
Welcome to the first episode of Beer Stories for Private Equity.
Today we’re honored to have John Fruehwirth (managing partner of Rotunda Capital Partners) as our first guest. We talk about John’s origin story, how he founded the firm back in 2009 and the impetus behind Rotunda’s strategic framework we dubbed the Spaghetti Map. Scott & John also discuss successes, failures, company culture and their love of the Baltimore Ravens.
John founded RCP in 2009 and has been partnering with lower middle-market companies for over 20 years. John actively invests across the firm’s sectors and leads the firm’s administration and capital formation activities.
Outside Rotunda — John enjoys spending time on the Chesapeake Bay, eating crabs and rooting for the Nats and the Ravens. He is the Chair for Capital for Children which provides for children in need in the metropolitan Washington, DC area. He also serves on the board of CollegeTracks which helps first generation students access and graduate from college.
